One-Line Pitch
A blockchain where lying is not expensive — it is physically impossible — because every block is sealed by living humans whose bodies, locations, and paid API receipts cross-verify each other in real time.
The Problem Everyone Sees Coming
AI will soon generate images indistinguishable from photographs. Video too. Voice. Documents. The question everyone is asking — governments, journalists, your grandmother — is the same:
"How do I know this is real?"
The current answers are all versions of the same weak signal:
- Watermarks — trivially stripped
- Metadata — trivially forged
- Blue checkmarks — one-time verification that a human existed once
- Bitcoin — proof that someone burned energy, not that someone is alive
None of these prove the thing people actually need proved: that a living, breathing human was present at this place, at this time, doing this thing.
What We Are Building
The BlockTrain — our operating blockchain — does not mine blocks through computational puzzles. It mints them from proof-of-life: evidence that real humans are alive and doing real things in the real world.
Every 15 minutes, a block is sealed. Each block contains:

Why This Is Different From Bitcoin
Bitcoin says: "Lying is expensive." Burn enough energy and you can still lie — it just costs you.
We say: "Lying is impossible."
To fake a single BlockTrain block, an attacker would need to simultaneously:
- Produce a real heartbeat with HRV that correlates with a geomagnetic storm that NASA independently recorded
- Generate a hardware NFC signature from a DESFire chip they don't possess
- Reproduce exact API responses from NASA, weather services, and stock exchanges at a moment that has already passed
- Match two independent time streams (wall clock vs Kronos temporal coordinate) whose drift ratio is determined by the Evergrove Express train schedule
- Do all of this within the 15-minute mint window
You cannot deepfake a heartbeat that correlates with a geomagnetic storm. You cannot forge a DESFire SUN signature. You cannot replay API responses from a moment that no longer exists. The cost of truth is zero — you just live. The cost of lying is infinite — you would have to fake reality itself.
The Crowdsource Tipping Point
Right now, it is one person. One Watch. One card reader. One Pi node. The chain is real but the trust surface is thin.
But the architecture is designed for N:

The tipping point is somewhere around N=50. At that scale, the system becomes self-evident — the cost of disputing it exceeds the cost of trusting it.
The Three Pillars Already Live
Pillar 1: The Watch (Biometric Attestation)
Kronos Wrist feeds 8 biometric streams into KronosTown every 10 seconds. These are not health stats — they are proof-of-life signals being cross-correlated against planetary-scale geophysical data in real time.
The Workshop runs 24 coupling benches continuously:
- Heart rate × geomagnetic Kp index
- HRV × Dst ring current
- SpO2 × solar X-ray flux
- Wrist barometric pressure × distant weather stations
When your heart rate spikes at the same moment a geomagnetic storm hits, and the Workshop records both independently — that correlation is unforgeable. No AI can generate it. No deepfake can reproduce it. It happened because a human body responded to the planet.
Pillar 2: The Card (Physical Presence Gate)
The Presence Gate requires a physical NFC card on a physical reader within a time window. The card carries:
- Hardware-burned UID (immutable)
- DESFire SUN signature (unique per tap, unforgeable)
- KronosID binding (which human)
- Version chain (links to previous cards)
Policies are per-site: the Bridge (command surface) requires the latest card on the reader right now. Other sites accept recent presence. The system knows which card, which person, how recently, and whether the card is the latest in the chain.
Pillar 3: The Chain (Temporal Witness)
The Latch observes two independent time streams — wall-time and Kronos Temporal Coordinate (train time) — and measures their drift. This drift is deterministic but unpredictable: it depends on the Evergrove Express train schedule, which depends on agent activity, which depends on real operational work.
The continued fraction expansion of the drift ratio (the Braid) creates a unique mathematical fingerprint for every moment. No two moments produce the same braid. No future moment can reproduce a past one.

We are not ready to challenge Bitcoin today. Here is the honest roadmap:

Bitcoin had years of obscurity before anyone took it seriously. We are in our obscurity phase. The difference is: we are not burning energy to prove we exist. We are just existing.
The Bet
Every blockchain in history has tried to create trust through artificial scarcity — burn energy, lock tokens, solve puzzles. All of them are saying: "Trust us because cheating is expensive."
We are saying something different:
Trust us because we are alive. Our heartbeats are in the chain. Our locations are in the chain. Our paid receipts from real-world APIs are in the chain. Two independent time streams witnessed every block. Physical cards with hardware signatures sealed the moments.
You cannot fake a life.
The question is not whether the mechanism works — it does, 1,482 blocks deep. The question is whether the world is ready to accept that proof-of-life is worth more than proof-of-work.
